The Brief

Demolish most of the existing building on Verdon Street and rebuild it as a purpose-built Horseland store – tripling the original footprint to suit the brand’s new look.

Highlights / What’s special about this one

A new reinforced steel frame, weather-resistant cladding and a bold navy facade with timber barn doors, finished inside with polished concrete floors, plywood walls and an open ceiling for a raw, industrial feel. Entered in the 2025 Master Builders Victoria Building Excellence Awards.

Delivery

Won through a competitive tender. During construction we found savings for the client on issues from existing site conditions, and finished on the agreed timeline even with extra scope added.
