The Brief

A purpose-built early learning centre on Moore Street, joining a new single-storey building to the period cottage on the street front.

Highlights / What’s special about this one

A sweeping curved roof with deep eaves and full-height black-framed glazing opening onto the play yards. Bored piers, a sandstone retaining wall and custom joinery through the reception, staff and kitchen areas. Natural play spaces with sandstone boulders, timber stumps and a timber bridge.
